At work (a rather big quarry) there are lots of pigeons and rabbits, hence we get a fair few buzzards and nesting peregrines. A pair of kestrels have nested in one of the buildings for the last 3 years and at this time of year they all seem to gather at once if its sunny, making for a real good show.
At home our pet robin is knocking about as is our tame pigeon.
Hmmm, peregrines eh ... might just tap you up for a guided tour to get some pictures piglet
Got flocks of greenfinches in the bushes today, the first time I've noticed them this year.
Nick, what camera do you use?
Hi Two sheds - I've got 3
Canon EOS 350d (8MP) (DSLR) + assorted lenses main camera Fuji S9600 (9MP) bridge camera ( it looks like a DSLR but has a fixed 10X zoom - 28 -300) used for macro stuff and as a walk about camera ( most of the cacti shots are with this) Nikon P5100 (12MP) Creative compact - it has some extra functions to the normal point & press jobbies. This is for digiscoping - basically I've got an adapter that fits the camer to the eyepeice of my spotting scope eyepiece and it acts like a telephoto lens.
As you can see ... I'm a bit of a geek

We had peregrines nesting on a huge old flour mill in Hull last summer. The mill was later demolished but it was a grand sight. They also nest on the cliff at Scarborough (where Mr Flum Junior resides.)
