I'm going grey!

I moved the bathroom mirror to a brighter spot earlier and was forced to acknowledge that I wasn't in fact more blonde than usual but grey! Lol! Well, b*ll*cks to that! I'm only 40 and have four small kids, so shall not be ageing gracefully I tried hard to be a nice, respectable girl in my teens and twenties, so didn't go for anything too avant garde but as the fates would have it, I'm not currently in a position to work outside the home so I'm thinking what the heck... I'm off to town tomorrow to buy purple? green? pink? hair dye!

For blokes it's easier, you loose the grey/white hair when it falls out.

Before you buy the dye you might find that a wooly hat come's cheaper perhaps not it might make you look older any way you might try a colour my mother always used to quote that was sky blue pink with black and white spots on as you see crazyness runs in the family jacob

I've covered my grey for years, but it's so much of a chore now (there's more silver than the original colour and my chosen very dark red often turns out bright pink or purple on the silver threads) that I've decided to go au naturel. May change my mind when it's all grown out - get it cut short and start again!!

don't worry, get the hair dye out and have some fun, i have been lots of different colours over the past few years, i love it!

You're nobbut a bairn lass. You either colour it (in which case eventually your skin texture makes your dye attempts look false and sad) or you go with the flow and enjoy it. Some people pay fortunes for the 'highlights' you are getting free!
