Now I'm not big on conspiracy theories, but I along with quite a few jocks, believe the Spanish ref on Saturday was acting on UEFA orders, They could not afford to have no Italy at the Euro championships, so the tartan army are relegated to watching England - possibly the worst English team in recent history - spawning their way to Euro 2008. Said my bit now. Not anti English, nor even anti Italian, but decidedly anti Spanish at the moment.

SR you blew it in Georgia really. Not keen on some of the stuff McLeish does - I mean Fletcher, Maloney & Hartley? Nah. Should have played Miller and Pearson from the start of the Italy game.

Hard luck though, I would have liked to see our Derby boys at Euro2008.

Not being bitter but your team do not deserve to be there (or at least still in with a chance of being there) They have been truly dire throughout this tournament. Ask anyone who knows about football - including Englishmen !!

Wholeheartedly agree about Maloney, Fletcher and Hartley, though the latter less so. Fletcher was nowhere on Saturday - especially for the Italian winner . I agree we blew it in Georgia, but still feel we were mugged by UEFA on Saturday, and nothin is gonna persuade me otherwise

I'm English and sorry but gotta agree they always get lucky (England that is) I'm not a big footie fan, but don't agree with the refs decision in the Scotland v Italy game! Sick of hearing everytime that England are about to play any game, the reference to the '...world cup victory...' get over it England it was years ago!!!! Stop talking about it and prove you can do it again, somehow don't think they have got it in them! Bunch of fairies on the pitch the English, that's my opinion and I am not proud of them in the slightest!

the way we have played the whole campaign, we did not deserve to qualify anyway. absolutely bl**dy awful. they are supposed to be professionals.
