Welcome on board - you'll get loads of advice here (whether you want it or not!) Everyone's friendly here - home from home for most of us.Whoever plants a garden believes in the future.

Hi PIB and welcome to the nut house! You're gonna love it!!!
I spent 10 yrs in Quarters (5 in total) and during that time grew most of my veg in tubs, baskets etc, Put shrubs and stuff in the gardens but it was always so sad to let them go.
Finally we have our own place and a lottie to boot which is heaven!
Good luck with your new beds and boarders, love you're "blank canvas" attitude!
LLImagination is everything, it is a preview of what is to become.

Get the Pongos who guard your fence in to dig the garden over...get hubby to tell them it is an exercise.Originally posted by piskieinboots View PostI'm a home-growing veg bird, one that has to move house quite often (married to the Air Force
) - just moved into RAF Benson in Oxfordshire.
We have been here since early September, I (with help from the lad) have dug several borders, LOLMy phone has more Processing power than the Computers NASA used to fake the Moon Landings

ain't that so true - the lad has 8 years before he hangs up the cap, so it's raised beds (for speed, no time to sort the soil in quarters) and pots for a while yetOriginally posted by lainey lou View PostPut shrubs and stuff in the gardens but it was always so sad to let them go. Apparently the OH's great-grandfather was famous for jumping off Launceston castle with an umbrella when it was windy, to see if he'd fly... Hmmmm... Half-cut?! Probably! He only broke both legs, so was quite lucky really
