The Annoying Pop-up ad

There's an advert at the bottom of the page for ?Evika GHs. I've tried to close it using the X and tried to block it with Adblock but a "skeletal" version of the ad keeps appearing on the page.
Is anyone else having problems with it?

No problem on my PC or iPhone but I can’t click it of on my kindle fire without opening the advert

It closes when I click carefully using my computer mouse. I imagine on a phone it must be frustrating.

I have to say, it doesn't bother nearly half as much as the previous one.

Being Cynical, it’s hard to close as every accidental click on it, results in a payment. It’s pay per click advertising so every click costs the advertiser. It’s the reason every site you go on, the close button either moves about or is microscopic!

I’ve not had any problems with this add. Apart from the fact you have to close the bl@@dy thing in the first place.

I can close mine on the iPad.

At least it's not as bad as the one which opened the moment you went anywhere near the X

As ads ultimately help pay for the forum as long as I can 'get rid' with a click, I can live with it. Not like the previous one which you couldn't get rid of.

I understand the adds pay for the forum.
But we have 1 in the banner
4 across the top ( under where you sign in)
1 down the left hand side
3 down the right
And 1 between every comment.
Do we really need 1 to pop up as well?

No I don�t use add blocker because it changes the layout. Which messes with my dyslexic head.

Don�t get me started on the �we use cookies� pop up . The world and it�s mother know everything uses cookies. Why do we need that hissing us off every morning when We sign in? Rhetorical question, I know it�s for legal reasons. I was just on a roll with the whining

I can close it with a click but it doesn't disappear completely - it leaves a shadowy text message that pops up briefly at the bottom of the page. Too briefly fo me to take a screenshot.

Its not that its really annoying, but that the Close button only partially works.
