  • Security certificateopn the website has expired

It expired yeseterday so there was a big warning when I browsed here this morning. Had to go to 'advanced' to ignore the warning and proceed.

I sometimes feel like the site isn't well looked after (in the technical sense)

Yes, I've had to override mine to get on, I've got a red border on the screen and multiple warnings, which aren't nice to look at
Didn't one of the mods warn them about this last week - I seem to recall a thread warning about it.

See you later when it is sorted *fingers crossed*

The two browsers I usually use wouldn't let me in at all. Had to use an old one and agree to ignore its scary warning. There won't be many posts till this is fixed!

I missed all the warnings. I wasn’t aloud on the site at all. Google keep telling me it wasn’t available or didn’t exist or something.

I noticed it on Thursday, you can get round it easily enough, but not everyone is comfortable doing so, makes you wonder what the i.t. department is up to at times missing the licence renewal.

I didn't bother to override the warning.
Its up to them if they want the site to be secure or not. If they don't I'll find one that is!

                A bit extreme, but ditto.

I got the 'security alert' message this morning, I tried once more a few hours later. Still the same. So I cleared off. Two chances is all they get from me in a four-hour window.

                      All seems calm now

ld - its more about the web-browser more than the system - in general the people producing the browsers are being stricter about security certificates so in some cases people wouldn't be able to access a 'broken' site at all - in the long-run thats a good thing
