Not much other news. Aged cat has started coughing despite the medication. Still very happy in herself though.

Good morning, dry but dull just now and no break in the cloud cover so no doubt there will be rain later, nice to read that post of VCs evedently she would be one of the nominal Aunties to a lassie who still working, Well I hope you avoid any weather troubles and keep safe, I see there is another storm forecast, hopefully folks will avoid any damage, for those who have lost their seed supply, post on the Vine and I am sure you will get them replaced, I know its not much but will save a bit of cost to you, and as long as people are safe, though sore, property can be repaired or replaced, thinking of you, God Bless

It's grey, calm and frost-free, according to the weather forecast it is already raining, so I suppose it will turn up soon..
Storm Jorge to arrive later today, hope everyone will be ok, and it doesn't make things much worse for the already flooded areas

Morning sleet and snow for today won't be doing much outdoors so instead I'll be sowing more lettuce and pea shoots for on the windowsills.
VC its odd when you meet people from years ago some really seem to have changed others look just the same. I get mixed up with my sister there I used to correct them but now I just say hello it get to involved otherwise.

Morning all,rain rain go away,and leave us alone for few weeks,it's weired intit VC,had that happen a few years ago at the hospital from a nurse,it was was my fuzz ball that she rememberd,i wonder if she was one of em that used to pull it and call me a 4 eyed golly gosh,calmer will come about,but that is a very long time,it must be the fact of NOT acting our ages,and having a laugh or somat along them lines,have a good day and Bgood2yorselves

Lottie, my Mum used to be a bit shaky with a stick so she bought a 3 wheeled walker, like these https://www.mobilitysmart.co.uk/walk...l-walkers.html. She also was given an NHS one which was a bit sturdier.
It had a bag where she could put a bit of shopping/handbag. The wheelie thing gave her a new lease of life and a lot more confidence walking around. Also, it folded flat so was easy to put in the car.

Maybe an option for MR?

Thanks VC he already has 1,all he kept doing was bang into things,not looking where he going,and will not use it outside,he also kept getting his hand and fingers raveld up with the handle and brake,lets go of it,moves said hand and says,cannot grip it,and gets agitated,this one seems the best so far,but only in the home so far,he got a much better posture,not so bent over,weight distributed even,it is very sturdy,he not able to walk around the shops,just short distances,they also very light weight,better for me to handle,
must get back to the kitchen,slapping some things together pasta wise for the freezer,

Sunny now, but cloudy earlier. Rain due to start on Monday. Forecast is for 50 mm/litres over a few days. So that'll add to the lakes. I'm never happy: it's either too wet or to dry here.

Still persisting down and the greenhouse is in lockdown again, wind is gusting @ 45mph Another fence is flapping, so looks like I may have to replace the whole fence - rather than repair it

Diet update - I've just weighed myself and have lost a stone over the 8 weeks, and now just back into 'normal' BMI *happy dance*
