Morning all. Up a bit later today so it doesn't feel quite as cold as previous days. Still in the minuses. The dog bowls and dog biscuits live outside. Doesn't stop them gobbling up their breakfasts, though. I really should find a warmer spot for their food but not sure where as we're still in a pickle.

Builder came last night to remove his massive generator and bags of cement. No chance of him doing anything for weeks now. He's dealing with officialdom and the paperwork to get an extension on our building permit. So that's something at least.

Busyish day ahead. So better get cracking.

A beautiful clear blue sky and the sun is shi ing.
Mind you, it's cold at just 4 degs.
Off out for a long walk this morning.
I intend to call into the library, it has been totally refurbished.

Late morning all. Dog walking over for now and just brought four barrow loads of wood down to storage area by house. This should keep us going for three or four days in case it snows? I didn't fancy trudging out in the snow.
Its bright here but bitterly cold and the wind is starting to build.
I am at a loose end today but I am determined to get summat done even though my sodding leg is playing up again.

Afternoon All That's it then for a few days. Just had a Q box installed and the technophobe will not let go of the remote control so it's fun here - it's also voice activated but I cannot get it through that it will not understand the command "tape"

Sorry, can't oblige, although it's very very tempting. i'm on Michael Mosley's Fast 8oo diet and losing weight quickly after the first week, which was a bit of a shock to the system

At my 'best' i.e. Exercising as well, I was losing 1lb a day
Yes...it is a shock cos I was used to losing 1-2lb a week on other diets.
Herbal teas are utterly brill as tummy calmers aren't they?-pukka do an amazing selection.
Rary would be proud of me-I can get 2 mugs from one teabag if I leave the second one long enough

Very busy today at work from the get-go so no early morning check in from me!

Had to tidy up the garden after the winds last night.. not too much damage but surprisingly things were thrown around all over the place!

Its downhill to the weekend from here, I can feel some fishing coming on!

Really want to try my kelly kettle I got for my birthday a couple months back.

Evening all. Dog knocked my phone in the washing up Thursday, didn't find it until to late, so got my new one yesterday

Youngest had first evening at beavers today, absolutely loved it! Off to bed as tonsils up and feeling grotty....

We have a bizzare end of line shop in our local town. A while ago there were some coconut and ginger teabags. Oh boy...they are rediculously yummy...but I've never seen them since. Good job I went back and bought the rest of the packets!!!( about 8 of them)
