Dug up a dwarf bamboo earlier this year, had to get a saw on it to divide it.....

It came up quite easily and once I got a look at it I decided the clump was not big enough to divide so just re planted it in its new position as it was.

Evening all.

Had a session in the forenoon sorting through surplus hative de Niort shallot bulbs and took a pic or two of the small ones and listed them on fleabay. bit of a faff but Ill sit back now and see if they sell. Intended taking a walk to the local shops with her ladyship but my back is playing up again so didn't. If you can imagine missing a step and jarring your back as a result that will give an idea of what I'm feeling but I didn't miss any steps or jar my back .

Evening all just back from the Leinster v Connacht rugby match which Leinster won 54-7. Feeling very happ with that result.

Evening everyone. All humphs had a good day, although why car insurance renewal has gone up by �190 without any claims is beyond me. OH has done a comparison and shall be calling insurance company on the morrow to negotiate a more reasonable price.

Getting things ready for school tomorrow, small humphs now want school dinners twice a week so had better put some money in the online payment system or they'll be two hungryhumphs on Monday

Mornings, said quietly for those having a lie-in,
I took a painkiller, as usual, and went to bed at 11.30pm and didn't wake up til 7am wow! haven't had such a good sleep for weeks Woke up with the 'did somebody say just eat' ad in my head for heaven's sake! The nearest I get to a takeaway is the very occasional fish and chips, but the ad must be good at implanting its message, mustn't it?
Today there's low cloud and drizzle, but not too cold - another non-gardening day by the look of it

Morning all.

Clear night last night. Very hard frost this morning. But a clear sky today. How does fog and thick cloud just disappear like that? Where do they all go? Solar panels are supping up the sunshine like nobody's business, as the batteries are very hungry.

Thought aged cat was doing well yesterday. Not so sure this morning. Guts are playing up again.

Good afternoon, a dull damp day here, OH thought she would try going to church today, then after the service go somewhere for lunch to save me having to cook Al the time, but after church we just came home where I made a bite to eat and OH feels shattered so need to go and have a look to see what I will make for the tea once I get something I need to go to our granddaughters to sort a wardrobe as she has a problem with it, I have told her to get rid of some of the clothes that she has in it and that would help, but I got a look from her that I have seen before from her mother and gran, so evedently she has been given lessons, and she seems to have learned well, enjoy your day and keep smiling

Afternoon all. OH managed to knock �200 off the insurance and get excess halved - how much money must they make from people who just auto renew?

No gardening today, off to tidy out car for school and work tomorrow, small humphs keeping up with the tidying which is good. Decorations down later today, and need to do the half termly schedule for the fridge so I know who's got to be where and when.

Might order some seed potatoes tonight....

I ordered a American fridge freezer from Argos on Black Friday and it eventually arrived a couple of days ago, delivered by DHL. Its awkward to get it to the French doors at the back of the house and one bloke was on light duties and the other was a plumber seconded to the delivery side. They said they need a four man team with someone qualified to take the packaging and doors off.
On contacting Argos I was told they couldn't deliver it until 21st January and the only other option was cancellation.

I got it at a good Black Friday price so I am reluctant to cancel. Ah well, we will just have to put up with our rubbish fridge/freezer until it arrives.

Getting SKY in tomorow so I hope there are no problems with that.

Back home from my trip to town.
Birthday gifts purchased and everybody happy.
My pocket is a lot lighter but at least it's only once a year.

Snadgar, wish you luck with the new fridge.
We bought one this year and had huge difficulty getting it into a very tight space.

Prevening All Made overnight oats for four days and mixed salad for two to take to work. Anyone would think I'm dieting Off on Thursday for my brother's funeral so toying with the idea of having Friday as well. Christmas is back in the loft and it might be a throw out tonight.

HI all,ref the fires in Aus,hope our friend is safe,not been on for a long time,i need to get a decent nights sleep,then i can get up and go outside,not keen on this hibernation thats taken over,i have seeds to respond to,and there spaces are not ready,yet,have a good evening and Bgood2yrselves.
