  • Bonsai compost recipe

I have acquired a yew tree seedling about 6 in high.
Was thinking of having a go at a bonsia tree.
Can you make your own compost what's the recipe?
I have a shallow bonsia pot.

On the subject of bonsia, I always have a niggling thought in the back of my mind.
It sounds like tree tourture and perhaps I shouldn't do it.

    Anyone else have similar thoughts.

I'm guessing you mean Bonsai. I'll alter the title.

Is it one you grew from seeds https://www.growfruitandveg.co.uk/gr...eed_98168.html

Actually the yew a rowan seeds were a no show. I was passing the house and mentioned it to the owner. He said was had loads of the dam things things pop up all over the place. He promptly janked one out and gave it me.
So I need a compost recipe.
As for the spelling, given it was 60 years ago I learnt this stupid language it's a wonder I rememeber anything.
I thought computers had spell check, must look into this.

Also when I did the yew/rowan I did some jasmine that was growing through the fence from next door.
      They all came up!
So will be giving away jasmine plants.

Sorry about the rant, thanks for the reply. Any idea on compost?

          No idea, sorry, Jimmy.
If I had to choose it would be something that suits conifers for the yew (?acidic) and ordinary for the rowan.
