  • Lunar eclipse

Just a heads up folks. There is a lunar eclipse tonight visible in the UK.

One of the sensationalist headings in one weblink I saw this morning was "Britain Prepares for Lunar Eclipse" - I'm not sure how much preparation it takes "Britain makes mental note to look up for a bit this evening"?

ISS passes over my head at 11.40 tonight -wonder whether it will be brighter without the moon?

Don't think I'll bother; anything less spectacular than the solar eclipse 2 weeks ago will be a total let-down. ;-)

I will probably see it while 'Bat spotting' tonight. It will be like the batman logo in the sky until it arrives.

Anything is better than a solar eclipse that wasn't visible in the Northern hemisphere.

You might guess from my photo that I wasn't in the Northern hemisphere...

I didn't know it was your photo, Mitzi, but it must have been amazing to see.

It’s now moved to top left. Tried to photograph it but couldn’t get anything.

I saw it too - so clear tonight. Forgot to look for the ISS though.

Never saw a thing up here apart from one bright(planet?) shining in the south.
