    Doesn’t work for me unfortunately
    If I come out of the vine and go back on in two seconds, I still have to do the sign in rigmarole

      It's probably related to the http/https site address.

      Try deleting your shortcut/bookmark, browsing to the forum through a Google search, and creating a new bookmark. Hopefully that will fix it.

        If you are using a PC and the https:// shortcut does not fix it, the problem may be in the Clear Browsing Data / Setting section - perhaps you have checked "delete cookies" and enabled the on exit option.

        This is the screen in Windows 10 (Edge). You will see that the "Always Clear" is switched Off.

          and check that your bookmark goes to the forum, not to the login page for example (maybe more applicable to other sites)
