I'm going to be trying Chilli_grower's recipe this afternoon, just a small batch, but with fatalii so it'll be closer to 4-6 chillies I would guess, and will keep you posted

I have a good harvest of green cayenne chillis, any ideas? Will they make chilli jam? Or sauce.

Susie - Any chillies will do the trick!

Pyreneesplot - How did it go?

Also, I made a 'slight' mistake with the recipe I posted. I forgot about the garlic!!!!!

It is not essential but I normally add several cloves...

Well, it has been made! With changes of course
I changed the carrot for an over large patty pan squash as I have lots of those; carrots are not easy to grow here and are therefore precious. I used 4 large fatalii for the quantity of vinegar, sugar & water specified and tasted it off the spoon once bottled. Wow! Consistency looks good for what I wanted but we'll give it a week or two before tasting. And added a couple of green tomatoes - green zebra so had to get rid of them somehow

Still maturing in the cupboard at the moment and as I have non-chilli eating guests this week it will stay there for a while yet.

Popped the first jar today - sweet, fruity, spicy and could be hotter. It won't last long

I've just made some West Indian style Hot Pepper Sauce using Scotch Bonnets and Ring of Fire Chillies. Bloomin eck it's hot!
