How do i dry herbs parsley mint etc so that i can save them to use in winter

  • #2
Personally I wouldn't dry parsley or mint because the flavour just diminishes too much. Just chuck them in a bag in the freezer and the flavour keeps really well. The same goes for coriander leaf too in my opinion, if that's any help

      Hello Winstonwobble.
      I agree with LostGoddess.
I never dry herbs but put them in the freezer. They come out looking good (use from frozen) and retaining their flavour. Only way to go as far as I'm concerned.

From each according to his ability, to each according to his needs.

In total agreement with the above. You can also chop them up in the food processor with some water, put them in the ice cube tray and chuck 'em in a bag when done. Avoids having to chop for casseroles and so on. (Good cook, but lazy. )
