I've been trying to get my fussy lot to eat more fish in an effort to eat more healthily but they aren't keen on the reasonably priced oily fish and cod is certainly too expensive. In the supermarket today they had some frozen fillets of Pangasius or Basa fish, labelled as farmed sustainably in vietnam. The price was extremely reasonable.
Has anyone tried this? I did google it but mostly came up with a lot of political literature regarding the American Catfish market.

The tempura suggestion has given me an idea Fat Bob. How does small slices of the fish dipped in an Indian style pakora batter sound? It's been a huge success with the cauliflower, courgettes and onions from the plot this year.
