Food Processor Help

I'd really like you advice.

I am looking to replace our ancient battered food processor and want something not too expensive (probably max of �60), that does the job and is likely to last a while.

At the moment I am considering the Breville FP13, the Kenwood FP510 or the Moulinex AAT5S4 Ovatio 2 Duo Press or the Philips-HR7735-Click and Go.

If anyone has any experience of these products I would really appreciate your opinion, or recommend one that you think I should consider.

Welcome to the vine Dingo, theres a great bunch of grapes on here, many of whom have much more knowledge than me, so I'm sure one or two of them will be along shortly to answer your questions!

We've just got our first proper FP, plumped for one a tad more than your budget (and beyond what we had budgeted for too! ), but one of the other Grapes (Alison) posted a lot of advice in another thread about cheaper FP, taking some info from the Which website, some of her answer I've pasted below, I hope this is of help!

Kenwood FP533 you were looking at it only gets a score of 70%, apparently it's pros are Excellent at mixing, slicing and whisking, good at chopping, kneading and whipping, excellent jug blender, small dosing hole in lid insert, fairly easy to clean, not as well-built as other models. Cons: Fiddly to assemble, uncomfortable to operate, noisy, jug and whisk beaters must be washed by hand. The Philips Cucina Click and Go HR7745 at �100 seems to come out as the beset all rounder with a good capacity without going any more expensive, it has the following summary, Pros: Excellent at chopping, mixing, slicing, good at grating, kneading, whipping and whisking, excellent jug blender, easy to operate, very easy to assemble and dismantle, easy to clean, well-built and durable. Cons: Quite noisy, large so harder than other models to store. Or alternatively the smaller Phillips Cucina Click and Go HR7735 at �70 for 79%, Pros: Excellent at chopping, mixing and slicing, good at grating kneading, whipping and whisking, excellent jug blender, easy to operate, very easy to assemble and dismantle, easy to clean, easy to store, well-built and durable. Cons: Emulsifying disc not as effective as a traditional whisk, quite noisy.
