  • Clary sage - any ideas?

    Hi you guys,

    just wondering if anyone has any ideas of what to add clary sage to? I just made a risotto and added it to that, but it wasn't particularly tasty, so any other suggestions?

    Clary sage is not usually used as a culinary herb and tastes quite different to common sage, very bitter.I don't think it is closely related to common sage, just has similar flowers. It is used as a lotion for sore eyes and, I think, scalp problems. It is pretty though.

          I've certainly had it as a ingredient in a massage oil, but not seen it used in a culinary way before.
