    Hi all.

    If I want to serve my own sweetcorn as 'nibblets' rather than on the cob do I cook the cobs first and then remove the corn or remove the corn from the cob and then cook it?
    It is the doom of man, that they forget.

    you could probably do it either way, but I remove before cooking

        Daughter uses a sharp knife and cuts them off raw. I still prefer to cook them whole, dip in melted butter and have a good chew.

          In the past I have removed them by hand, just break a couple off the top, work your way down the cob then just go round in round and you should have whole kernals that way.
