Can you freeze already cooked sweetcorn? The reason I ask if that I cooked some for tea and obviously was a bit over enthuisiastic and have loads left over and don't wish to throw away. Would love to hear if anyone else has either reheated or freezed cooked sweetcorn.

Is it still on the cob? I suppose you could freeze it, but it obviously wouldn't be as good as fresh and you would only need to re-heat not cook for long.

Yes it is still on the cob, maybe I'll just reheat it instead - cheers.

I froze some last year, but wasn't very successful as lost crispness and were soggy when cooked ... now looking for alternative ideas for preserving sweetcorn
