Using 5ltr foodsafe plastic bottle as fermenter

I may well be the very last person to do this but:

Take a spirit bottle metal screw top. Heat a small amout of veg oil in saucepan. Stand screw top in oil until really hot. Wearing a glove pick out the top and place immediatley on the plastic lid of the flagon. press slightly and voila! A perfect bung size hole for your airlock.
