I have another question.....has anyone used these reusable plastic 'corks' for homemade wine?

I have a selection of wine bottles, some which have been corked and some screw top. I was going to use the plastic corks in some and the original screw caps (sterilised) in the rest. Does this sound ok? I don't want to buy a corker at the moment incase my wine turns out bad and I don't get round to trying it again.

No, my Brewshop Man says they're rubbish

I've used screw top bottles with the original cap, and they've been fine. Usually I use cork top bottles (the neck is slightly narrower than a screw top bottle).
