Grape husks what do you do with yours

Hi after making wine I am left with loads of grape husks,pips etc. At the moment I just compost these but I feel sure there is something I could do with them. I tried boiling some with a drop of water but the result was not worth the effort. Has anyone tried distilling or any other ideas?

You could sell/barter them with a local pig farmer
