  • look what I made!

30 day California Connoisseur Rioja wine kit, recycled bottle, bought cap, bought cork, pinched-off-the-Net label.

Total cost per bottle: roughly £1.60
Taste: pretty good, very juice, fruity, not oaky

How professional do they look T.S, very posh.
They look very hard to open though T.S.....I'm willing to put myself in harms way to help open one or three, purely so you don't harm yourself I might add , (gets glass's ready)

I'm still trying to refine the flavour into words: I've had to drink 3 little glasses so far (each DJ makes 6 bottles And-A-Bit)

Looking forward to your final assessment of the flavour (mostly gibberish with a lot of fancy words, I expect, after another few glasses)

I am surprised there were no labels in the pack - the Sauvignon Blanc I did a while back came with labels and bottle caps.

So was I: the small boxes have labels, but not the big boxes

I've got 29 more homemade labels to Pritt-stick on today

That's after I've scalded my hand getting the shrink-to-fit caps on.

Oh, and the corks are all popping back out of the screw-cap wine bottles: they seem to be a millimetre or two wider than the cork-top bottles. Bugger.

Use the hairdryer for the shrink caps I sterilise the lids and keep them to re-use.

I tried a hairdryer, it didn't work: not even slightly

It takes a while but does work once the bottle starts to warm up
