    Right... one more racking. Nice taste to it too. Vinometer has it at higher than 25%? Don't think so but still nice.

    I am planning on bottling them in June. Wedding presents sorted.

    Oh, and I did use the stocking trick too.

      Old stockings/socks are fine for staining as long as they are sterilised, but for filtering I would recomend the Harris Vinbrite filter, it may remove some of the flavour!! but if you leave your wines or meads for at least 3 months filtering shouldn't affect them too much.
      Eat well, live well, drink moderately and be happy (hic!)

        Hi Ohbear,

        But why use a filter that removes flavour? And what is it about asbestos in the filters? Not sure I want my wine anywhere near that.
