    I have decided to make ginger beer, but the recipes I,ve read don,t say what type of yeast I should use? is it bakers or brewers. Help please....

      Brewers is best, but you could get away with using dried yeast sold for baking which is readily available from supermarkets

        But preferably NOT the 'easy bake' type intended for adding direct to the flour.
        In fact, if you ever get FRESH yeast for baking, it is typically 'brewer's yeast'. Making beer causes the yeast to 'grow' and they sell the surplus for bread making! (massive over-simplification)
        Flowers come in too many colours to see the world in black-and-white.
