I think I will try this not only on my seedlings but also on my tricky seedlings which like cold stratification as I've read that it helps not only with germination, strong plant growth but also with overwintering so should strike all three on my overwintering sown capers. Worth a try do you think?

I too am looking forward to my overwintering experiments.
