I've got one tiny sprig of pulmonaria flowering, plus winter honeysuckle and a winter clematis which is actually disappointing - it only has one or two flowers, and I had hoped it would be covered like summer clematis.

The winter honeysuckle is favourite, for its scent - glorious. Pictures later when the fog and frost clears, it's too cold and murky right now

Here's the winter honeysuckle. It has tiny flowers, only about 1cm across, but much loved by early bumbles.
Then the battery died on my camera. Got it on charge now, so the other pics tomorrow if it doesn't rain too much.

My Flower of the Month has to be the early Crocus. Harbinger of spring!

I'm really looking forward to contributing to this thread, but literally have no flowers out at the moment, not even a single snowdrop. Hopefully something will appear within the next fortnight.

Today I noticed a winter aconite, a few snowdrops just showing white, and in the brief splash of sunshine, 3 yellow crocus out.

Dunno where I've been cos I missed this (this new router doesn't seem to work through thick rubble stone walls either ) but I'll get some photos of the few welcome flowers in my garden tomorrow.

Here's my January offering. No runners-up I'm afraid, these little violas are the only thing flowering for me at the moment (though the rainbow chard in the background is great for winter colour instead).

    Hopefully more choice next month....
