I have a 2 year old cox apple tree this year it has 6 nice apples but the trouble is that 2 of them have cracked open , can any one tell me the reason

Carrots can crack if they have a very dry spell then suddenly a very wet spell?Comment

As already mentioned, it could be the fungal disease called scab (cox is rather susceptible), or it could be excessive water after a dry spell..Comment
