It'll be wonky once you've finished it but the pride in the accomplishment will outweigh the looks. You need to find a wood merchants, what are they called now? someone? anyone?

Or you can still just buy one

So's this one, or it might as well be: I do all the DiY round here. Guess who lagged the loft? Does all the painting? Sawing? Drilling? (you get my drift)

So saw it up? No, wait ~ you don't have a saw do you? I'm guessing

Then you'll have to pay over the odds for somebody else to have done the sawing for you ...

That looks brilliant ^^^^ and cheap too. I have Link-A-Board which are a bit more expensive as I have the double ones, but they're in about their sixth or seventh year and are showing no signs of wear. I have also recently bought some growbeds that are half the size, from Marshalls and I'm really pleased with them. Hope you find what you're looking for Bexy.

No, and I'm certainly not one. One doesn't need to go all "blonde" and "female" though when a bit of manual labour is called for: women only indeed

you don't need training Just do it anyway. You'll either get better at it or you won't, but you'll still be doing it...only trouble is, you have to live with the results

I don't recommend painting your concrete floor white by the way....not one of my better ideas...

If you've a local place that sells wood and such they might cut it for you (for free) when you buy it. I know ours will.

Otherwise, you don't strictly need anything to edge it, especially if it's not too tall. It just doesn't look so neat.

But I think you should get a saw and build it yourself! Cutting perfectly straight lines takes practice, but just cutting it somehow only takes effort and works just as well for something like this, and making something yourself's a great feeling

Bq value saws only a couple of quid. Deck boards on sale too. They won't cut treated wood though! At BQ that is. They might at the local builders merchant.

Remember measure twice and cut once.........

Ring pallet yard (Use yellow pages or thompson) and ask for pallet collars. Mine cost me £6 each.

No DIY required and the man delivered them for that too.
