Madam C. good to see you again. I'm not going to recommend any book 'cos the best place (IMHO) is a forum - much like this one
Put your questions to the 'under cover section' if they're specific. Save a few quid.

I got the Bernard Salt one when I got my tunnel and found it invaluable. Have seen lots of others but none as good as his https://www.amazon.co.uk/Gardening-U...s=Bernard+salt

Some of us live in the past, always talking about back then. Some of us live in the future, always planning what we are going to do. And, then there are those, who neither look behind or ahead, but just enjoy the moment of right now.

Which one are you and is it how you want to be?

I was going to borrow from the library but I need titles to look them up or g8 jnto a b7g town our local library doesn't have any. Thanks Alison I'll have a look at that one.

I don't have specific questions as yet just want to get ideas beyond starting off veg and growing toms and peppers.

Grand to see you here. Hope you're doing well. Good luck with the polytunnel and greenhouse. I have neither, so can't help you there, but just wanted to give you a warm-ble greeting.

I use a mix of six scoops of compost three scoops of sand/grit and two scoops of perlite, the quantity is unimportant as long as the ratio is the same, if for seeds I use this mix, if I am potting on I add some blood, fish and bone, along with a small quantity of chicken manure pellets
