            not impossible no.

I haven't been able to install xp on my vista machine as yet, because i need to install a seperate hard drive for it.

unlike previous versions vista seems to dislike dual boot, unless you have the older version installed first, there are of course ways round it, i just haven't bothered with them yet.

besides i am sure Vista will be too bleddy scared of Lynda to give her any problems

just make sure to back everything up before even trying on to disc, which i know Lynda is doing as we speak.

Good luck hon...I use Vista when I log into other people's systems - I still have XP on my Dell for when doing spreadsheets and pivot tables...and can't stand Vista when I do have to use it.

Bleugh. Why ever did they 'upgrade' from Windows 97 - that was a brilliant system. They got too big for their boots if you ask me.

97 rocked, even XP is ok, i just got fed up when they started rushing out a new OS and using the consumer as the guinea pig to test it, vista is the worst yet.
