    Just wanted to say 'Hello'

    Hi everyone!



    I’m a newbie here as of today… So glad we found this site, my user name is in remembrance of my Nanny who passed away last year...i use to love her War stories of self sufficiency and thought i would give it a crack!

    My friend DirtDiva (another Newbie) and I have just started showing an interest in growing our own fruit and veg a couple of weeks ago and are raring to go!

    So far all I have managed get round to sewing are my Mixed Lettuce Leaves and they are about an 1nch tall now... but we hope to plant more goodies soon…

    It’s all very exciting thinking we might have a bountiful crop at the end of it and its something we can share together.

    Just wanted to say hello, and let the fun begin!!

              Welcome Dig. Try and grow a few potatoes in a bag. You won't believe the taste compared to shop bought.

                        Hi and welcome to you, great that you give reason for your username - think that should be a new thread !

                        Good luck with growing, I am new too, from Kent, and its a busy time, looking forward to seeing how we all get on and our harvests later in the year.
