  • Hi Everyone - I'm New!

Hi everyone, I'm deb, and I've just joined the GYO forum.

I have an allotment which I've had since last August and so not much has really been done on it what with the weather but hopefully over the next few months, it will get up and running.

So far this year I've planted my garlic and over the next few weeks im going to do my carrots and leeks and make a grand little herb garden in my back garden.

    xx

Hello Deb and a very warm welcome to the Vine. I expect you've loads to do on your allotment, happy growing and look forward to seeing your progress.

Hiya boosmummy, and welcome to the vine. Hope you have a really successful season on the lottie. Everyone is waiting for the warmer weather. Then we can all get stuck in to our plots.

The vine is a brilliant place to ask for help, I've always had my questions answered with good sound advice.

      Have fun on your plot
It is the doom of man, that they forget.

It is pretty mammoth, its about 45 by 50 foot, so far the fencing is up and a compost bin thats it.

I have a shed to go down there but with the weather the path down to the plot is quite flooded so its just hanging on in there until it dries out a little bit. The plot itself though is fine with no flooding xx

Yeah we have a good size and to be honest, when i first saw it i was a little bit phased by it, but my friend is going to help as well, ive said they have as little or as much involvement as they want.

We are hopefully going to get a few chucks eventually.

            xx
