Default August Issue.

So I am looking at the Wilkinsons store finder and it is 14.3 miles to the nearest store...so it maybe worth getting another watering can for the lottie.....as long as I can remain strong and not buy a lot of other stuff while I'm there!

Think its in Bordon.. or somewhere just south of Frensham, Fi... will probably go in next 48 hrs If you want lift just let me know.

God I'm such a sucker! I know its just a marketing ploy and I'll end up with a set of chairs or a BBQ or tons of seeds to squueze into the over flowing cupboard!

The Wilko tom food is clear - to me it feels wrong. I'm going to get some different tom food this weekend for the greenhouse and keep the wilko stuff at the lottie.

Clear tom food - WRONG!!! It needs to have SOME colour.

There's a Wilko almost next door to my office so that will be first stop for me tomorrow! Good luck with avoiding buying anything else they are so cheap and at the moment are doing their Greenhouse style cloches at half price!

I have the same problem with one I got in Tesco's. No colour.

It's just not right, I had to add some food dye.

i've just had a nightmare trying to get my free watering can.. went into wilkinsons and the only one that matched the picture on the front of the voucher was the 9L one.. the 6.5 litre one was totally different

it took 30 mins and several phone calls between the branch and head office for them to finally decide they should give me the 6.5 very cheapo looking one even though it looks nothing at all like the picture

has anyone else had this problem?

This is great, I was on the look out for a cheap watering-can to leave at the lottie, but free is even better.

Yes, I had that argument today.

They don't do a 6.5 litre can in that brand, only a 9 litre one. They wouldn't let me have it either!
I had to do with the cheapo Wilkinson brand one, but hey it was free

I had no probs, the one in the picture was the same as the one on the shelf.

No issue with the voucher, she even knew how to put it in the till.

Pah, the nearest Wilko's is 15 or 20 miles away - how free does that make it?

Mine's apparently Ashington 136.89 miles from Aberdeen, which is even less free.

And as for the poor souls in Orkney and Shetland...

Ooh! Forgot to say, I got my free watering can today! Had to make a trip to another town (Letchworth) about 10miles away? Got a plastic soil riddle too! & picked up some gardening goodies in Poundstretcher (& tried to ignore the seeds!) - all in all a good day out!
