  • You Little Monkeys.....

    How many of you knew??!!

Lynda & Auntie Maureen have just left my house, after staggering in a few hours earlier, laden with Get Well cards, boxes & bars of chocolate, seeds and other gifts. I must admit to being absolutely overwhelmed, and had to wipe my eyes

Can't tell you all how grateful I am, you guys are THE BEST! I have all the cards along the window sill just above where I'm lying on the sofa

And huge hugs, kisses etc, to Lynda, and to Auntie Maureen for driving all that way. Lovely, lovely ladies

oh and i remembered half way home in the rain, that i didn't remember letting the dog back in after letting her out for a wee just before we left my house ....... cue panic ...... and on returning home, one very relieved slightly soggy dog coming flying round the side of the house, thinking she'd been abandoned poor ikkle thing ...... feeling very guilty now, lots of chew sticks and cuddles in order for tonight.

            You deserve it

I reckon we're all one big Vine happy family
I was feeling part of the scenery
I walked right out of the machinery
My heart going boom boom boom
"Hey" he said "Grab your things
I've come to take you home."

if it had been wide open i wouldn't have had to worry about the dog, cos she'd have been able to get in lol, so no, just not locked ...... mind you. i'm forever leaving my keys in the front door too lol

I thought that after I typed it... Although I have left the patio door opened when I went out before now, and the dog spent the whole time outside, howling, although she could just as easily have been laid on the sofa But then, she is a bit of a spanner

And I'm back home now without getting lost! (Thank you Daphne-Sat-Nav). I've had a lovely day, had a cuddle of MY chick and Pingu and a couple of others and they really are absolutely gorgeous! Sarah, thank you for making us welcome and for the lovely Parsnip Soup yum yum, and to Di for sending the yummy chocolate-boozy-cakey stuff
My girls found their way into my heart and now they nest there
