    will there be big fat slugs now?

    wondering if there's likely to be a population of fat slugs already?

    I need to collect a few and keep them for a few days to show some year 4 students as teaching them movement and growth.

    Too bad my garden doesn't have snails

    I doubt it, most will have stuck to thier New Years Resolution to lose weight,
    I have found a few small once circling my greenhouse but I think most are still sleeping

      Well something is out and eating my seedlings. Saw the first signs of it yesterday here comes the spring here come the slugs/snails

        I was moving a load of flagstones t'other day and only saw little'uns. The last big'un I saw was sailing over the fence and into the woods near my allotment last year. I'm starting to feel a bit less humane now though so far fewer have the brief sensation of flight than used to be the case.
