    Where am I?

    Following on from HotStuff's riddles:

    You are stood exactly on the North Pole.
    You walk 1 mile south, Then 1 mile west, then 1 mile north.
    How far away from your starting position are you?

        Is this the magnetic north pole or the geomagnetic north pole and what year is it because there may have been a geomagnetic reversal and you may actually be at the what was south pole, in any case you are probably lost and very cold.

                You grapes are too smart for me.
                Logic suggests you'll be a mile west of your original starting position, but at the north pole; travelling west is not a straight line as west keeps on changing as you travel. So your path creates a segment of a circle which has a radius of 1 mile and includes 1 mile of the circumference.

                    Back where you started from with Billy Connolly for company, being chased by a big Polar Bear, being filmed by David Attenborough for his next "Life At The North Pole Revisited", which has been in the making for the last 6 years, with never been seen before footage of Ollie & Billy Connolly being chased by a Big Polar Bear...WOW.
