  • When It Goes Cold, The Forum Seems Quiet

Noticed it about a week ago... When the weather gets bad all of the new faces stop showing up. Just us regulars

Never noticed - bet I keep seeing it now that it's been pointed out.

As a relatively new face, I haven't stopped showing up, still log in nearly every day, just don't post replies as the regulars have more experience and can give better advice than I can. I still look and learn though!

Newbie still here, the cold weather seems to have bought out my lurking tendencies again (that and the fact that I went up the lottie for a few hours today and managed not much but freezing myself solid )

There's loads of regular users who never use this forum. When I venture into the actual 'gardening' bits, there's many of people who joined yonks ago who don't post much, but say valuable things when they do.

Like RT sez, I consider myself a newbie quite a lot too. Depends which bit of the forum I'm visiting I suppose... Some people joined recently, but post loads, so I've no idea what counts as a 'newbie' really!

Anyhoo, week before Christmas, not a lot of growing to be done, totally understandable!
