It's all just about how many posts have been made - no matter how helpful or worthless.
We used to have a Guru. But maybe the powers that be have decided that the status of Guru can only be conferred on the worthy and not just by number of posts. Certainly not getting at you Snadger - many posts of useful information from you - but just have visions of a Guru with 12,000 posts all saying YEP, CRIPES, YAHAAY.

The 'Gardening Guru' is Nick-the-Grief' who we haven't seen in a while. It was originally intended that Guru would be something that you got for a certain number of posts, but I think the powers-that-be realised that it would be ridiculous to have lots of 'Gurus' all over the place and it changed to Early and Mature Fruiter. I would like to see it change when folk reach 10,000 posts, that's quite a milestone really! The Grapes who've crossed that so far (Snadger, Two_Sheds, Flummery and Nicos if I remember rightly?) are worthy of the Guru or a similar tag i think
Any good suggestions will be duly passed on to Admin
