  • The 'what makes you happy' thread - part 2

In attempt to redress the zen balance - a yin to the minor rant thread yang, I thought I'd start up a thread where Grapes can post things that make them happy/smile. Think of it as a long term anytime version of the Wednesday smile thread.

The days are getting longer, the temperature is lifting and spring is upon us.

So come on, let's get cheerful. Let's turn those frowns upside down!

    I'll start things off...

When I go to collect Bean from the childminders' and he hears my voice he comes charging down the hallway with an excited tone to his mumblings. He then sits himself at my feet and thrusts his arms up towards me.

    Gets me every time.

Taking 3 of my grandchildren to the allotment (ages 11, 6 and nearly 2). None of them wrecked anything, they all had fun and returned home filthy dirty, soaking wet and happy. (And tired so hopefully they will sleep well tonight)
