  • The 'what on earth can I buy them' thread....

    As some of us will be panicking about what to give a friend or relative......I thought maybe we could put our heads together with ideas!

    Anyone stuck????

      OK- may I be presumptive and put forward an idea for Binley's Gran-in-law???
      104 and in a nursing home???

      How about a scrap book with photos of all the family at various ages- and maybe some happy memories written down of time spent with grandma???

        Good idea Nicos on both counts , the thread and the pressie...........keep 'em coming

        Right FIL .........mobility problems, has every camera known to man, two lappies and a poota with an A3 printer, house stuffed to overflowing with books, cd's dvd's art materials , a sort of Victor Meldrew with attitude (but a heart of gold) doesn't do foreign food, doesn't drink .... aarghhhhhhhhh.....got the picture

          Does he wear T-shirts???

          You can get special paper which you can scan on a piccie you've taken and then transfer it onto a piece of material...so how about a plain t-shirt or 2 and some of that paper??

              Probably it wouldn't surprise me.......buried in the depths of one of the bedrooms or in the attic....he used to bring all his cameras whenever he came to stay . Take him half an hour to unload the car

                          Rechargeable batteries and chargers by the bucketfull, he only shoots digital these days ..macro flower photography that he can set up in a little corner of his study cos he plays about with the images on the poota.
