I do hope the rant helped a bit. Of course being a Mum, you will cope, because you have to, but it is nice sometimes to just SCREAM, because no-one will notice all your efforts otherwise.......

Why is it us mum's do all the work looking after the kids even when we are ill ourselves ? I have had to struggle to school many times when I have been Ill my self yet when men are Ill they get to stay in bed.
Hope all of you will be better soon.

I'm off sick at the moment myself - got a fluey thing and completely lost my voice too (much to some peoples relief). I fully sympathise. I have no children, but if I'm poorly, I can guarantee that the following day my OH will be feeling under-the-weather too and need full nursing care round the clock - even though I'm still ill myself.

This time I've been clever and caught this virus off him instead!!

            thanks everyone

well i am better and went back to work, 2 of the kids went back to school and my poorly flower (youngest) has gone to my mums as she is still poorly, but she is loving the attention!

of course if the OH comes home and has man-flu, he doesnt have to feed, wash, clean, garden, etc etc.

on a good note the rain has gone and tomorrow is our funday at work (nursery school) and should be really good, hoping that the weather is still gonna be dry - fingers crossed .

            xx
