    So what did........

    ........you get up to during this afternoons shut down?

    I took Jake for an afternoon constitutional
    Shortened two pairs of trousers
    Ironed two shirts for work
    Peered hopefully at the seeds in the airing cupboard and
    Cooked a cottage pie for tea.......

    which is three more things than I would've done

      I sat on my arris and piddled about on the Poota!

      It hasn't stopped raining here all day, and I couldn't be arrised to do anything constructive indoors!

        Made first batch of Marmalade. - Seven jars. Perfect marmalade-making weather. Torrential rain and blowing a hoolie.

          Looked after the Grandchildren, but talking of marmalade anyone know where you can get seville oranges Tessys never has them

            I get them from my local greengrocer Stella, but that's no good to you is it? Sorry.
            Came home from work
            Did puzzles and crosswords in the daily paper
            Made beans on toast
            Sowed some seeds, yay.
            Logged back in.

                    I get mine from the village shop, believe it or not! - But then we are a Marmalade-making sort of village! It might be worth asking your local greengrocer if he could get you some in. Failing that I noticed that my local branch of Tessys has those tins of seville oranges for marmalde in their jam asile. Don't know what sort of results you get from them.
