I want to plant some seeds, I dont have any window sills to use so can I put them in unheated propergators in my plastic green house or will it be too cold for them.

Think it may be too cold outside. Have you got a small bit of spare worktop in your kitchen? I have a couple of unheated propagators on my worktop. -

It's very early for planting seeds Jackie, especially as you don't have any suitable indoor space for them. I think it would be far too cold for them outside. But if your determined to try you could go for some pea shoots. You could keep them on a work surface. I think they would do allright.
Maybe someone else could suggest something else.

I have seeds growing which I sowed on 7 Dec in a greenhouse at average 5-10oC - they are all salad leaves, watercress, spinach etc but looking good thus far

ah - justr re-read and noticed you have plastic greenhouse - that may be too cold.
Do the pea-shoots as Alice suggests, I have them growing in my kitchen window-sill, Alice posted a lovely (inspiring) picture of hers somewhere - Veg area I reckonaka

Yep......I'd agree with zazen......it depends very much on WHAT type of seeds you want to sow?
Best way is to read the seed sowing instructions on the packet......it should give the required germination temperature and when the seeds can be sown! The germination temp is critical but you may have a bit of leeway with the best sowing times!
