radish and turnips

All radishes are attacked by root maggots, i am also growing turnips(plants only 5cm high at the mo)but worry that if i leave them without any protection...maggost will attack and destroy all my turnip crop too. Is there anything i can do now, to stop those little b.....ds spoiling my harvest???

Use floating row cover to protect the crop from root maggots. The cover also will protect the leaves from flea beetles.
