Default Nuvva forum slot

As we seem to have excess seeds around. how about a slot for wants/swaps/freebies - it could be called The trading hut like a proper lottie site.

Jax, can you ask for us?

This is a good idea, already swapped seeds with many of you and given a few away. Always nice to be able to swap things and make sure seeds you no longer grow don't end up in the bin.

Lesley, Geordie and I brought up the subject of a seed swap with the PTB a few months ago. We were told that the fine print would have to be looked into to make sure all Grapes knew it was not the Magazine that was running it but just us humble Grapes
A few of us have not let that stop us and have been trading seeds for a few months now. What we have been doing is putting an appeal or offer on the boards and asking other Grapes who can help or wish to take up an offer to PM the Grape concerned. That way addresses can be exchanged in private and agreements made over cost. Some people find a lot of seed can be sent for the cost of a second class stamp.

Nick and Andrewo. As Jaxom said we have put the request in to the powers that be and I have even shown them an example of a seed swap that works on another forum. They like the idea. It's just a case of waiting for the go ahead and then Ben the web site designer will put a new section in for us all.
