          Sooooo weird though

Next time will be easier of course- I'm driving into the large town next week to help out at school, so a bit each day should help!!!!

You'll soon be so used to driving on the right that when you next go back to UK you'll think it's wrong. I remember being horrified when my BIL collected me from Southampton airport and went "the wrong way" around the roundabout

Having said that, the first time I drove to Montlucon (our nearest "big" town) I was terrified. Just remember your "Gallic shrug" if anyone beeps at you

Sowdrop is amazing at driving on either side of the road, no idea how he does it cos I thought men couldn't use both sides of their bonces

It gets interesting when you are constanty crossing the channel . You have to remember which side of the channel you are on and then what side of the road you should be on.
I used to love coming off the ferry in Calais and watching all the Brits trying to "expand the Empire" at the first roundabout on the way out of Calais.

There comes a point in your life when you realize who matters, who never did, who won't anymore and who always will. Don't worry about people from your past, there's a reason why they didn't make it in your future.

My Hubby always seems to enter motorways the wrong way!! Scares the life out of me and the kids. We want to go to france on holiday, our friend has a holiday cottage near La Rochelle, the only thing that stops us is the chihuahua's! Very expensive for 3 passports for them and my brood bitch would pine away without seeing me for a day!

it's so funny watching brits go round their first roundabout the wrong way ..... been there done that ..... didn't die wooohooo

i actually think it's easier to drive on the wrong side when you get used to it.

I don't drive Madderbat does the worst place we/she has driven is Crete.
Going up/down mountain roads where two cars can just pass with a 150 metre drop at your side of the road with no barriers then you meet a bus coming the other way
The river Trent is lovely, I know because I have walked on it for 18 years.

I went in taxis in Crete, Absolutely terrifying! There is a reason they all have religious stuff hanging from the rear view mirrors!
