  • Net curtains?

I have a bay window in the lounge on the front of my house and it has a nice big windowsill which last year when I started growing my own stuff I put a number of plants on.This year as I'm growing more stuff I've started using other windowsills for plants and by my perception they're doing better. The window in the lounge has net curtains, the others don't. Do nets cut the amount of light enough to affect plants?
