I hope now all this has come out they will ALL clean up their act, they are all as bad as each other which ever party it is. Maybe we should all not vote cos which party tells the truth about anything. I have always voted since I was old enough bar one year when I had just had my 1st son. I know everyone should vote cos you cant moan about a particular party if you dont vote for the one you think will do it for us. They are all taking us for a ride, all that money could have been spent on more serious things like Police, Nurses and the like, or maybe they could have cut everyones taxes so we could all gain.

Dealing with damage to the house by rodents, maybe. gardening, NO WAY. That is a personal choice type expense, but then I don't believe they should be entitled to ANY unreceipted expenses, and a lot of what they can claim for should not be permitted.
I wouldn't give them 'second home' payments anyway. They should be assumed to have a home in the constituency, and the government should buy a block (or a few blocks) of flats close to the Westminster Gasworks for them to stay in during the week.

I agree on all of that and especially the flats bit, mind you they would want it to be called a hotel and be waited on.

There would have to be good security, and maybe a cleaner to do each flat once a week would be reasonable (provide a few jobs).....

BW, you are a man of worldly experience, and of great sagesse. Has it truly taken you till now to realise that MP's are carp?

Why not evict the present residents and move the lots of them up the road to Holloway Prison?? (Lived in UK for a while and got a taste of things) Alternatively you could have our lot!!!!

This is so infuriating, I feel the whole situation should be dealt with like reps, you get a vehicle, hotel expenses upto a certain value and an evening meal allowance.
What are we doing here, I don't blame the people from claiming, they are selfish money grabbing thieves but then in that situation we would all probably be swayed. I blame the system, given a budget which is ever increasing, they clearly spend the day dreaming up ways to spend it.

Surely the carbon footprint of 550 bags of hoss muck is a lot better than the home secretarys husbands blue movies on the expenses or don't we talk about them....jacob

Get all the umemployed builders to build a great wall. 7ft high and about 1/4 mile long.

Then line up all the MPs, Secretartys and Home office people.

Then shoot every 10th one as an example to the rest.

See I thought you were gonna build a wall around them rather than put their backs against it. The result is about the same.
