  • Middle England Meet-Up! Ooo-err LOL

    OK, here we go.

Does anyone in the not quite Oop-Norf, but also not Daarn-Saarf, bit of Middle England wanna meet up? I was wonderin' what about the Herts, Bucks, Beds, Cambs, Essix lot? Also anyone else willing to venture out...

Anyone got any suggestions, clean ones only perlease! A suitable venue? or event? Wisley was great, but a bit far also, for some. OK for me, I'll drive anywhere within reason, and belting down motorways doesn't faze me, but I appreciate not everyone has their own transport.

We're smack bang in the middle of no-mans land as I've previously mentioned. Sometimes, we're considered saaf east, sometimes, east Angular, sometimes even saaf midlands, and norvern home counties...

We're 5 mins from the M1 and east/west routes are also fairly local.

Depending on the date - it's a theoretical yes.

Blimey have never thought of Herts, Beds etc as Midlands, surely Midlands is Notts, Leics, Brum etc!?!

Some of us live in the past, always talking about back then. Some of us live in the future, always planning what we are going to do. And, then there are those, who neither look behind or ahead, but just enjoy the moment of right now.

Which one are you and is it how you want to be?

I think it's worse in Northamptonshire - are they East Anglia, South East, South Midlands, Central England....?

Well, I'm dahn sarf of yer actual middle England (or is it middle earth? I do know a hobbit as it happens ) but depending on time and place, could possibly travel and maybe even pack a hobbit in the back if she wants to come too.

If it's not too far East, I can try!
Flowers come in too many colours to see the world in black-and-white.
